The opportunity at OneStop 

As a Business Analyst at OneStop you will learn to understand our products and their application in order to work with customers and elicit their requirements. You will document “as-is”, and influence the customer on the ideal “to-be” business process that extracts maximum value from our product offering. You will bring exceptional analytical skills to specify functional & technical design requirements, and execute test plans to ensure our customers meets their objectives. In this 12-month fixed term position you will be responsible for instilling confidence in our customers, as well as our internal technology teams, that the solution specified will meet or exceed the objectives.

 

As a Business Analyst, you will: 

  • Engage & collaborate with the OneStop team, project stakeholders and industry representatives associated with relevant projects to understand the environment and customer needs.
  • Conduct business analyses at the business objective & process level to document clear outcomes - this may encompass (but not limited to) key success criteria’s, “As-is” & “To-be” business processes, system integration, system interfaces, customisations, support needs once in production or complete applications.
  • Work closely with Product Managers to manage product backlogs and take ownership of backlog grooming sessions.
  • Develop and document user stories in line with the OneStop architecture & product roadmaps for teams to follow.
  • Participate as part of a Scrum Team or individually depending on the nature of the task.
  • Perform integration and user acceptance testing.
  • Provide usability, business & technical guidance support for development activities.
  • Support iterative product delivery and display the value of change that it brings.

 

What will you bring to the role? 

  • 3+ years experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Business Analyst.
  • Previous experience wokring in an Agile environment or have a good understanding of Agile product delivery principles.
  • Exposure to API Development practices is highly desirable; i.e. experience writing the requirements for API Development and a good understanding of how APIs work. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels internally or externally.
  • Business Process/Story mapping skills; ability to map out high level product outcomes into workable epics.
  • Strong ability to develop and document user stories with the right level of details.
  • Atlassian, JIRA & Confluence experience is desirable. 
  • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.

 

OneStop’s office is currently based in Redfern, but we are moving to a fantastic new Sydney CBD office within the next few months! 

Please note that while OneStop offers a highly flexible working environment, our employees must be based in Sydney or live within a reasonable commuting distance of our Sydney office.
